This study aims to examine the improvement of children's language skills based on neurological development stages at ages 6, 9, and 12. These ages were chosen because they represent important stages in brain development that affect receptive and expressive language abilities. A descriptive qualitative approach was used to describe the relationship between brain structure and function growth and children's language skills, including comprehension, pronunciation, grammar, and abstract thinking abilities. The results of the study indicate that at age 6, rapid development of the left hemisphere supports the expansion of basic vocabulary and the ability to form simple sentences. At age 9, interregional brain integration enables children to develop the ability to understand more complex discourse. Meanwhile, at age 12, more mature prefrontal cortex activity supports critical thinking and the logical and argumentative use of language. These findings emphasize the importance of language learning strategies that are appropriate for children's neurological stages to optimize their language development.
