Digital Archiving Policy

Jurnal Pendidikan: Media, Strategi, dan Metode is committed to maintaining the availability and long-term accessibility of all published articles. The journal’s digital archiving policy includes several systems designed to preserve published content, ensure metadata distribution, and support continuous access for readers, researchers, and academic institutions.

PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN)

The journal participates in the PKP Preservation Network, or PKP PN, which provides preservation services for journals using Open Journal Systems. Through this system, published articles are preserved in a decentralized digital preservation network to ensure that journal content remains accessible in the long term. PKP PN supports the journal’s commitment to safeguarding scholarly content against data loss, technical failure, or discontinuity of access.

LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe)

The journal uses the LOCKSS system to support the long-term preservation of digital content. Through the network of libraries participating in LOCKSS, article copies are preserved in a decentralized manner to prevent data loss and ensure continued access to published content. This system strengthens the journal’s digital preservation strategy by ensuring that multiple secure copies of published articles are maintained over time.

Garuda (Garba Rujukan Digital)

All published articles are archived and indexed in the Garuda portal, managed by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia. Garuda supports broad national access to the journal’s scholarly content and strengthens the visibility of published articles within the Indonesian academic ecosystem.

Indonesia OneSearch – National Library of the Republic of Indonesia

The journal is integrated into the Indonesia OneSearch system managed by the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia. This integration enables metadata distribution and access to full-text articles through the national library network and related academic information systems.

Google Scholar

Articles published in this journal are actively indexed by Google Scholar, allowing researchers, lecturers, students, and global academic communities to discover, cite, and access the journal’s content through online search platforms.

Internal Backup and Cloud Repository
