Abstract

This research aims to determine the skills and readiness of PGSD study program students in microteaching courses. This type of research is qualitative research using the library study method. The data collection technique used was interviews. Meanwhile, the data analysis techniques used in this research are data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that the teaching skills of the 2021 Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program students in implementing basic teaching skills, students have implemented the seven basic teaching skills, but they have not yet been implemented perfectly based on the components of each skill, namely class management skills and reinforcement skills. where some students do not provide motivation and just stand in front of the class without any body movements that show warmth
