Self-confidence is crucial for students as it affects their motivation, learning, and academic performance. The research explores how theater training can be an effective tool to enhance students' self-confidence. Theater training provides students with opportunities to express themselves freely, which can help them overcome fears and insecurities, leading to better social interactions and communication skills. The study was conducted in an elementary school in Medan, using a descriptive research model to assess the impact of theater training on students' self-confidence. Data was collected through observations, interviews with homeroom teachers, and qualitative analysis. The findings suggest that consistent and well-implemented theater training can significantly improve students' self-confidence, as well as their communication skills, both in theater performances and everyday life. The research concludes that theater training is an effective method for boosting self-confidence in elementary school students, helping them to better express and understand their emotions, thereby enhancing their overall personal development.
