Abstract

Peace settlement in the South China Sea has become a complex and sensitive issue. China's unwillingness to accept the results of the International Arbitration Court's ruling has worsened the situation. Therefore, this research discusses steps that can be taken when international law in the South China Sea is not respected. In this research, we will discuss the use of international arbitration mechanisms, consultation and negotiation, as well as the use of international maritime law to peacefully resolve settlements in the South China Sea.
