This study aims to describe the roles and impacts of teaching assistance activities carried out by Primary School Teacher Education (PGSD) students from the Catholic University of St. Thomas at UPT SD Negeri 060891 Medan Baru in the 2024/2025 academic year. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with data collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and case studies. The findings reveal that the program contributed significantly to four key areas: academic, non-academic, technological adaptation in learning, and school administration. In the academic domain, students actively participated in developing teaching tools based on the Merdeka Curriculum and applied 21st-century learning models. In the non-academic aspect, students supported character development through extracurricular activities and revitalization of school facilities. In terms of technology, students successfully integrated digital media and platforms into both teaching and administrative processes. From a managerial perspective, students assisted in organizing school data and documentation more systematically and efficiently. These findings emphasize that teaching assistance is not merely a fieldwork practice but also a transformative learning process for students to develop pedagogical, social, and professional competencies. The program plays a vital role in enhancing the quality of primary education and strengthening the synergy between higher education institutions and schools.
